Our Nation As a small group of NFL players and others demonstrate disrespect for our nation’s anthem, the American ag, and those who have sacri ced to defend us, it is important to remember that what makes us a great nation is the right of those people to express such views. If their employers also believe that, while wearing team uniforms and while being paid to represent their companies, those individuals should be permi ed to demonstrate their personal views and put those businesses at risk, then in our free society, those employers, too, are entitled to do so. I am also entitled to my opinion. ose who prefer to kneel should instead use their status positively to not just draw a ention to themselves, but to x what’s broken. Disagreement is ok. But it is the positive motion toward solutions and evolutions that makes this a truly great country. As for President Trump, let’s hold him to his promises and demand results. But, let’s give him every opportunity to accomplish great things for us! To all in law enforcement: Know that those who are shouting are the minority...that’s why they are speaking so loudly. Our lawful society would not function without your dedication and sacri ces, and those of your families. Our country is with you.
