Over 500 CFOs attended. Exciting and intelligent presentations and discussions were led by SAP, AOL, D&B, Boston Consulting Group, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JLL, BDO, The Federal Reserve, Robert Half, TDBank, PwC, Fulton Bank, and others. Acknowledgment goes to our many Business Development Partners, presenters, and panelists, including JLL, CFO Innovation Conference exclusive real estate partner, and Yorktel, the Conference’s exclusive technology partner. The CFO Studio team again did an incredible job… the Conference was certainly an exciting day! In this issue, we celebrate a number of high- profile CFOs, starting with David Chambers, CFO of Jaguar Land Rover. David’s pedigree as a finance executive and his experiences in and out of the auto industry make for a story that is cooler than some of the vehicles his company sells…and, they are pretty cool! Equally exciting are the CFO Innovation Award Recipients highlighted in this issue, many of whom hold positions at some incredibly impressive companies. I hope you will join me in congratulating both David Chambers and all of the 2016 CFO Innovation Award Recipients. Our sincere gratitude goes out to the panel of independent judges, led by TimAnglim of YesCFO, who worked tirelessly to select Finalists and Award Recipients, along with CFO Innovation Awards Audit Partner, Withum+, and Awards Business Development Partner, Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In this issue we have published some truly informative articles on diverse topics, such as what it is like to be a football franchise CFO, de-risking pension plans, the service-minded focus of many tax exempt CFOs, what it means to be CFO at a private-equity-owned company, the challenges and opportunities associated with turnarounds, going global, and customer care…can’t get more diverse than that in a single issue! In the Advice &Guidance section, Aldonna Ambler and JohnMoskonas share insights on strategy execution and job searches. Check out their articles. In the upcoming Q4 issue, the cover story will feature Johnson & Johnson, one of the world’s most impressive companies, and the thought leadership of its CFO, Dominic Caruso. I know you will enjoy this story! CFO Studio continues to expand its quarterly conference offerings with the Q2 2016 Reception honoring David Chambers, Executive Dinners in New Jersey, Manhattan, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and other markets, and the recently launched CFOBreakfast Learning Series at which select subject matter experts present on topical business issues, and CFOs earn CPE credits. Visit www.CFOstudio.com for a schedule of events and register to attend. Remember that all CFO Studio conferences and events are available to CFOs at no cost.
